INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EXCHANGE & TRAVEL PROGRAMS

The International Youth Exchange Programs are travel programs for a specified period of time. Particpants MUST return to their home country on completion of the Program. Your pre-determined "intent to return" to your home country will play a large factor in your visa issuance by the Embassy. Applicants will be required to show, as well as meeting other requirements, concrete supporting evidence to demonstrate their "intent to return " to their home country at the completion of the program.

Camp Counselors share their culture with American children while providing direct supervision, and program instruction as US Summer Camps. Applicants should have experience working with youth, aged 18-30 years old and have good english.Applicants should also have skills that they could share at camp. Only ELIGIBLE applicants can apply for the International Camp Counselor Program. In order to determine your Eligibility you will be required to complete a Pre-Application Form.

Employment  Opportunities

Most participants typically work in semi-skilled to non-skilled service positions at resorts, hotels, restaurants, and amusement parks. Summer internships in US businesses and other organizations (i.e., architecture, science research, graphic art/publishing and other media communication, advertising, computer software and electronics, and legal offices, etc.) are allowed.  Participants are also permitted to work in multiple locations and can be transferred within departments. 

Eligibility:

Participants MUST be CURRENT STUDENTS at least 18 years of age, on THEIR summer break.   International students from most countries north of the equator can seek employment during the US summer while most students south of the equator can apply for employment during the US winter months. There are also particular countries whose breaks fall between March and June.    All participants must also possess sufficient proficiency in the English language to participate in the program.

Program Duration:

The term of employment and/or the internship may not exceed the four-month program duration, and must be completed during the student's summer vacation. Additionally, participants are permitted to enter the US up to 30 days before employment begins and may stay to travel up to 30 days after employment ends.  HOWEVER, participants are limited to the total amount of time that they are officially on summer break from the university.

This service provides job seekers with  job sourcing services. Our international career consultant will contact employers directly on your behalf. Interested employers will follow up with selected applicants directly for interviewing and other screening. As an enhancement we offer visual services such as electronic and multi-media resumes. This service is currently only available to clients with work eligibility (i.e. already have the right to work in the intending country) examples of such will be USA DV-Lottery Winners who have secured a visa and are relocating to the USA or clients who have other eligible work authorization.

UK Highly Skilled Migrant Program - Tier 1
UK HSMP Tier 1 (General) allows highly skilled individuals who score the requisite points to immigrate to the UK without any kind of sponsorship from an employer. Highly skilled individuals include doctors, scientists, engineers, MBAs, and other educated workers. If you can speak English, have earned at least the equivalent of a bachelors degree, and can show that you have earned a relatively good income in your home country, Tier 1 (General) is the right scheme for you.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM - MAXIMUM 12 MONTH PROGRAM

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at a degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the United States; OR

Graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to his/her exchange visitor program begin date, and who enters the United States to participate in a structured and guided work-based Internship Program in his/her specific academic field. 

Be at least 18 years old by the start date of your program

Apply for programs related only to their studies

Demonstrate English proficiency

Participate in a documented in-person interview.

Must have a degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary academic institution and at least one year of prior related work experience in his/her occupational field acquired outside the United States, OR

Must have at least five years of related-work experience gained outside the United States in his/her occupational field, and who enters the United States to participate in a structured and guided work-based Training Program in his/her specific occupational field.

Demonstrate English proficiency

Participate in a documented in-person interview.
